Knights of Columbus
Knights of Columbus – The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded by Rev. Michael J. McGivney in 1882. The organization was founded as a mutual benefit society for working-class immigrant Catholics in the United States. The Knights have grown to support refugee relief, Catholic Education, local parishes, and global Catholic social and political causes. This men’s fraternal organization is often referred to as “the right hand of the parish priest.” The order is dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, and patriotism. The order is open to any Catholic man over the age of 18.
